My career began in the commercial world of automotive advertising photography, working across every format — from 8×10 large format through medium format down to 35mm — developing a rigorous understanding of light, composition, and the mechanics of the perfect frame.
That pursuit of the image led me into the motion picture industry, first as a Steadicam operator, then as a professional camera operator working in every configuration the craft demands: traditional dolly work, cranes, remote heads, Steadicam, and handheld in all its many forms.
Between film sets, I have always returned to still photography — exploring landscapes and seeking out moments of quiet beauty that no production schedule can manufacture. Every print here is the result of that lifelong compulsion to find the image worth keeping.
